Re: Dissidia Duodecim (part 2)

Still on the topic of Kain/Lightning. While I find the two to be full of tension and what-not, I find myself shipping Kain and Tifa more. Tifa’s story mode is so sweet and fairy-tale-ish, and it’s even Ultimecia who’s the main enemy there. Evil witch, much? Knight in shining armour? The fairy-tale references are everywhere.

Tifa is coy and clever here. I like that she’s level-headed enough to not distrust Kain immediately. Sans some of her dialogues that made me uncomfortable – except maybe she’s playing the slight-damsel-in-distress card to bait Kain, which in that case I find amusing, and enjoyable. She’s got Kain wrapped around her finger.

I still want to think that Tifa and Squall are long lost siblings, whose father is Laguna, except that they don’t know it. :|
